And that’s a wrap! Thanks to all racers at cougar Mountain this year. Each time you toed the start line, we raised $15 for King County Parks. Here’s to the hope that 2017 can be the best year yet!

The easiest way to get faster is to inject human growth hormones into your body. The next best way is to train naturally and consistently and meeting us for workouts every Wednesday evening! We meet at the Garfield HS track and we’ll start running at 6:30.
Keep an eye on our Facebook or Twitter for any changes in the schedule. Workouts are free and open to standing club members. Non members are welcome to come give the workouts a trial run.
Fall XC Info
Each autumn, the Wednesday Workout transitions into the XC workouts as many of our members team up for a fun XC season. Fill out the Google Form and let Stefan know if you’re interested in racing with us! We welcome all speeds and even guys with goatees.
SUNDAY TRAIL RUNS!
Meet us each Sunday 8am at Cougar Mtn’s Sky Country Trailhead for fun on the trails. Runs are 8-14 miles in length and welcome to all skill levels. Occasionally we will start from other locations around the beautiful cascades; keep an eye on our Meetup page for each weekend’s location, and we hope to see you soon!
MONDAY GROUP RUN ADDED

Meet at Flying Lion Brewing in Columbia City every Monday for 5 miles (there is also a 5K option) at whatever pace you fancy. SRC member Evan Williams designed the route to resemble the profile of FLB’s logo. Enjoy the lion’s nose/mane through area parks and climb “The Wing” back to the neighborhood streets.Pints after are optional, of course. The brewery will also provide water and the next door neighbors are Full Tilt Ice Cream! Kids and dogs both allowed in the brewery, but no beer for the kids.

If you are interested in racing Cross Country in the fall, SRC members race for FREE at most of the season’s races, and a select few can earn free plane tickets to the season-end National Championship races!
