Group Runs

SRC Group Runs

Dear Members,

In accordance with CDC guidelines and the recommendations of Governor Inslee regarding coronavirus COVID-19 and social distancing, we have decided to suspend all group runs and group training sessions for an indeterminate amount of time.

We know how important training partners are and how much the running community leans on each other for support and motivation but anything we can do to slow the spread of this virus and to flatten the curve is the right thing to do. Even if you feel you are at low-risk for severe symptoms or for contracting this, some SRC members work in high-touch jobs, have children at home, care for the elderly, and we don't want any of us to become carriers that might infect others who are in high-risk groups for severe symptoms.

On the other hand, go run! Times like these are difficult and running can be just what you need to vent some pressure and stress. We'll be on the socials and will post updates soon as experts advise it is safe to resume our group activities.
